Overview
About Me
Currently, I am living in Gansu province and teaching English courses to Longdong (East Gansu) University students!
👩🏼🏫🌏📓🇨🇳
Most of my days consist of reading the daily news and blog articles, finding a tasty recipe for dinner, and attending a yoga class on my campus
📰📱🥘🧘🏼♀️
I am fairly new to CS, but despite my lack of references I hope you give me a chance! I am respectful of your time, space, and generosity of welcoming a stranger into your home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This past year I was able to travel in Europe by myself for a few months. During my travel I was too nervous to CS alone and stuck to the Hostelworld app to find my way. I learned that this type of accommodation has it's up and it's downs. Now, I am heading for a new path and would like to fully embrace the CS culture. The ability to share stories, knowledge, and space with a stranger is an amazing opportunity. I believe that CS is the best way to get to know the area you are traveling and meet new friends along the way. My favorite part about traveling is the people you meet along the way, not the tourist sites you check off the list, that is why I am on Couchsurfing!
Interests
Cooking and eating delicious food! To counteract all the eating and because I enjoy it, I love exercising and getting a good sweat. Practicing Yoga and Running are what I do most often and enjoy. I am also Interested in learning about meditation (I am not so good at it), talking about sustainability and how we live our lives with intention, and hearing other people's stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biked from my small town in Xifeng, Gansu to Xi'an, Shaanxi in just under 2 days. Maps Me puts it at 233 Miles/370 Kilometers. I am glad that I did it, but if I did it again it will be 3-4 days with longer rest period for my knees!

Teach, Learn, Share
Look at “what I can share with hosts” and “my home” section if you are a surfer, I can share the same with you!
Potential hosts! I want to learn anything you have to teach me about your culture, or any interesting hobbies you have. And to share a meal together, whether we prepare it or find something new together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some cooking skills mostly western food, my favorites to cook are Tacos, French toast and pizza. I’m also able to help around your home with cleaning or other tasks you may need assistance with. I also love doing crossword puzzles and we can do one together anytime :)
