ABOUT ME

The Lowdown:
* Born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Now living on the Canadian west coast!
* Caring, down to earth and open.
* Ingrained by Chinese upbringing to be respectful & tidy.
* Lover of all things art, food, and green.
* Worked as a server, lifeguard, residence assistant, piano teacher, aquatic ecology lab assistant, product developer of white bread, tortillas & snack cakes, raccoon mom (aka wildlife rehab intern) and field biologist.
* Ambitions to become Occupational Therapist and World Traveler Extraordinaire.

Interests

* Learning and doing craft making. As a teenager, I dreamed of becoming an illustrator or multimedia artist, however I felt could do more to help people in the medical/rehabilitation field. But I still love trying new mediums. My latest passion is pottery. It would be amazing to see and try what creative projects other people are working on and their inspirations.
* Tasting and attempting to create new foods . Some of my favorite memories revolve around great food. The stranger the food or dining experience, the better it is! My uncle is a chef and he learned how to cook from my mother, so I've grown up with a lot of great Chinese food. One of my favorite things to do with people is hunting for a great restaurant or spending an evening in the kitchen swapping recipes.
