I love first times and meeting people.

or just chill on the beach and do nothing.
2011 was an amazing year for me, lived on 3 continents. Three totally different jobs.
2012 was even better, visited 7 countries and saw europe for the first time:)

After 8 years in Dubai it was time to return home to Ohio.

I like to take it as it comes and go with the flow. Having a plan isn't always necessary but can come in handy once in awhile

Never judging a book by its cover. Or person by their face.

I think we're here to experience and appreciate each other and what our world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host people every couple months or so.
The lifestyle in dubai is quite flaky and fast-paced, but i do my best.

If you don't need a host gladly meet up to get some food off the beaten path.
Not really interested in guiding you through the touristy spots, but I'll show you some cool places you won't find on a map.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have nothing but good things to say about CS. It really shows that even while cultures can differ from one another tremendously, people are the essentially the same.

Interests

COOKING!
Travelling every 2 months so I reality doesn't escape me in the bubble that is Dubai.

Seeing new places and exchanging with all walks of people at this point in my life.

I was studying Korean with the intent on being fluent eventually, but I'm still pretty conversational.

I'm only really fluent in english, but i know a little bit of a lot.

I like hiking, being with friends, seeing new people and places, and breaking down on the flo' (dancing)

Music, Movies, and Books

live music. house. jam music. hiphop. classic somethings

kung fu movies, visually stunning movies, and judd apatow-like movies with the stupid witty humor.

always have a book nearby. i mean magazine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went snowboarding and jet-skiing in the same day (dubai, june 2011)
Tomorrowland (2012)
3rd highest bungee jump (nepal 2013)

Teach, Learn, Share

I usually work Sunday-Thursday 9-6. but after or on the weekends I'll do my best to show the under belly of dubai. whether your stay is 8 hours or 4 days I'll make sure you get the best of it.

If you're staying a couple days I recommend to go see the glamorous touristy stuff (the malls, burj Khalifa, etc) while I'm at work. when I'm available I'll take you on a guided tour you can't even buy:)
