About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Jay wants to meet YOU!
ABOUT ME
Jay is just a guy with many interests and a love for learning. He likes cooking and eating good, good food...and not sitting in one place for too long. Jay has finished his undergraduate education and is taking some time to decide what to study in graduate school that will make the years ahead influential, exciting and meaningful.
He tries to stay pretty busy, but will really try to make time to show you around, take you skiing, hiking, adventuring, etc...or just talk.
PHILOSOPHY
Explore this world we all live in together. Meet people from all over and enjoy each new experience with an open mind.
Its not about what you do, its about who you are and what you do with what you are given.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Jay is very interested in meeting new people by couchsurfing and hosting fellow couchsurfers. He wants to connect with new friends in other parts of the world, and in his own country.
Jay also sees possibilities for Couchsurfing that go beyond what it currently is, and is hoping to sending a particular idea to the CS staff sometime in the near future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Jay stayed with Ida and Anne Kristine in Trondheim, Norway. They showed him around a bit and even shared some home-cooked food with Jay.
Jay had a short overnight stay with Alan and Sarah in Kalispell, Montana. They gave him some recommendations for where to go in Glacier National Park.
Jay stayed in Munich with Michael twice, who told him all sorts of things about his city, country and himself. He showed me around multiple times by bicycle and on foot, and we went to Oktoberfest a couple of times.
Jay stayed with Constanca in Villa Nova Milfontes, Portugal. They made dinner at her house and she showed him a couple of different beaches. He also met up with her in Lisbon and they walked around the old part of the city at night.
Jay stayed with Joaquim near Zambujeira do Mar, Portugal. They talked about various things, went to the beach a few times for some bodyboarding and Joaquim shared a special fizzy drink recipe with Jay.
