Hello, I'm Jasson. I currently live in Santiago, Chile. I studied International Affairs at Florida State University.

I'm an easy going, friendly guy who enjoys a good laugh. I love making new friends and having fun.

PHILOSOPHY

The cliche "you only live once" comes to mind. I've been given one chance to live this life and I'm determined to make it an amazing experience. I find personal enjoyment and fulfillment in the smallest of things. It isn't difficult for me to feel happiness, but I feel happiness is an emotion best felt when shared with the people you care most about. I live to make memories and strive to help people make lasting ones for themselves.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed on my first trip to Europe a few summers ago. It was a great experience so I've continued doing it, both hosting and surfing. I've met some amazing people and look forward to meeting new ones!

Interests

I love travel. I love meeting new people and learning about them, their culture, and their experiences. I love taking pictures and writing about my experiences. I'm adventurous, friendly, inquisitive, curious, active, happy, entertaining, and well-mannered. I am very open-minded and thrive in challenging circumstances. I enjoy movies, music, the beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing, and trying new foods! I love a good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an enormously eclectic taste in movies, music, and books. Lately I've really enjoyed action/adventure movies. I really like foreign films. French and Spanish especially. I listen to all kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've swam with whale sharks and hammerheads! I've conquered my fear of heights!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have had many wonderful experiences with people from all over the world. I grew up in a Colombian family and so I have a healthy appetite for all things latin. Because of this I can share my experiences in the US as well as my experience as a Colombian.

I love meeting people all backgrounds and have grown enormously from this approach.

I'm a wealth of all kinds of information, both necessary and unnecessary. I have a wide variety of skills that I wouldn't mind sharing with others, too!
