Hey! I'm currently doing the digital nomad thing, I'm an illustrator for my work and I'm pretty lucky I can do that from anywhere in the world - travelling actually benefits my work by giving me focus, and inspiration.
I spent a few months in India earlier this year and last year, and I'm now planning in Mexico and Central America until June, then to East Asia for next winter probably (winters in the UK and cold and hard!).

I always travel solo - I love being able to do my own thing, and I enjoy how it makes more open to new connections and experiences. I'm often drawing too on the way so I tend to do things at a slow pace!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to meet new friends! I'm doing a lot of house sitting, which is really great (animals!) but can occasionally be hard to meet new people. Sometimes I'm staying in an area for around a month at a time and this is enough time to make some great connections! I love meeting people from different cultures, and then it can also be comforting to meet those from my own.

I'm very easy to chat to and enjoy conversation :)

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm listening to indie/ electro, but I honestly like most genres, just not heavy rock or drum and bass! I tend to like documentary films, and have just finished reading Sapiens which I loved and am just starting 21 lessons by the same author. But sometimes I just read Roald Dahl too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started a women's football team called Banana F.C! Who have completely flourished, and now have 4 coaches, 20 women (most of whom have never played football before), and have just gained funding to develop the team even further and hopefully put on events for youth in sport! Now I've left the UK I have pretty much handed over all the reigns (I still end up doing all the design stuff) but it's something I'm so proud of.
