Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To exhaust Argentina's supply of quality red wine, and to improve my air guitar skills.
ABOUT ME
I'm a travel junkie, especially to Latin America. I'm a geek: I studied Comp Sci at university, and I've worked for several years as a web developer. I enjoy recreational sports such as skiing, cycling, canoeing, and hiking. If you play any of my favourite rock music, be warned: I will sing along, and I will shamelessly perform a lame air guitar solo during the riff bits. People tell me I have a great smile. And hey, I do smile a lot, because life's too short to have a glum look on your face.
PHILOSOPHY
Have faith that you're in this world for a reason. You may not know what your purpose in life is yet. I sure as hell don't know mine yet. But be strong, and be patient. Be assured that every choice you make matters, and that nothing in life happens by chance. Always grow, always lend a helping hand, and always remember to enjoy this day as if it were your last!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I've participated mainly in the social events of the Mendoza CS group, as this is my first introduction to the world of CS. Muchos asados, muchas fiestas!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Pretty new to CS so far. I've been renting a room here in Mendoza, in the apartment of a CSer. We've had a few folks stay on the couch here. I haven't personally hosted any CSers yet, but I hope to do so when I go back to Australia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The craziest and the hardest thing I've done in my life - climbed a 6,000m mountain (Huayna Potosí, in Bolivia). It was frikkin tough, but I got to the top! And it was 100% worth the effort.
