I feel lucky enough to be living on Jeju island in South Korea since September 2015 :)

My homeland is Cornwall, the most south westerly county in England. A beautiful rugged landscape with some of the (in my opinion) best beaches in the world. Yes, it's often bad weather. But the few weeks in summer? There's no better place for me.

I'm half English and half Philippino which I am grateful for because it helped me learn about cultural difference from a young age. Most of my family is in the Philippines and I love visiting there. I also LOVE all types of Asian food! But also all food in general - it's the perfect way to experience culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like using the groups for meetups and stuff, also host when I can and have surfed a few times. But to be honest, my full involvement in CS has not yet been actualised. I hope to do a CS tour in the future when the time is right and host more if I ever have my own place...

I love travel, but don't do it as much as I would like to. Often this is because of money. So far I have just worked, saved, spent all my money on travel...and repeat. I have loved (and am still loving) every moment I have experienced and every friend I have made.

I love being outside. I love the sea, the beach, love exercise. I love to dance and to rave. I love cleaning (yes, that's right). I love seeing different gyms around the world. I'm recently into callisthenics and bar training - I do a lot of handstands :) I like poker.

I like eating, cooking, eating food I have cooked, cooking with friends, eating food with friends that we have cooked together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and second-hand book shops.

The first album I ever bought (or my mum bought at my request) was Radiohead: OK Computer when I was nine. It blew my mind and they remain my favourite band. I grew up mostly listening to 90s American gansta rap and later underground and UK hip hop. Still miss those days, many memories of baggy trousers, bandanna's and and a rainbow of hip hop garments.

I love electronic music, especially drum and bass. Favourite artist is Prince. The rest of my music is pretty eclectic. I like space orchestra music now.

I often enjoy the odd Hollywood blockbusters and I love the IMAX behind my house. Big Star Wars Fan. Doesn't make me a geek, but I can do a pretty good wookie impression. Also lots of other films. And a good documentary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am in love with the feeling of weightlessness which i why i love cliff jumping. So for me, bungy jumping and skydiving were awesome.

Lucid dreaming.

A few times people from the gym were sick when I trained them. And then they paid me at the end. That never ceased to amaze me.

Errr as well as TEFL I'm a personal trainer in the gym so I can teach that stuff if you're really interested?

We can speak about drum and bass and gig/festival experiences all night.

If facilities are available, I can teach you to DJ :)
