Hi!
I'm Jazmin, I was born in Tennessee, USA and grew up in a culturally dynamic household. My parents are both immigrants, one from Spain the other from Mexico, so I am a mix of Spanish/Mexican/and East Tennessee customs and traditions. I love languages and cultures, which is why I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world.

I love hiking and doing anything active, but also know how to appreciate a good movie or show binge ;).

I studied international business as a way to connect my passion for learning and working with other cultures with my professional aspirations. I currently spend most of my time working, going to the gym, and spending time with my family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the couchsurfing community because it connects travelers and adventurers with one another. I also find that visiting a place through the eyes of a local gives you much more insight into the life, culture, and beauty of a lifestyle that you never would have experienced or understood from just visiting as a tourist. I hope to be able to provide this insight to people who come stay in my home, and to experience that with my future hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hike up a mountain and spend the night in a beautiful, solitary refuge under a full moon. I have never felt so close to the moon, I literally thought I could reach up and touch it- that's how big it was!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, language lessons, cook, buy beers, clean. . . anything to make your life easier and the couchsurfing experience comfortable and enjoyable-like a friend staying over.
