ABOUT ME

I came to Bloomington to study Biochemistry at Indiana University. Many hobbies and passions of life took me off the beaten path. While in the midst of intense studies in gradual school developing pharmaceutical drugs to treat diabetes, I found myself dedicating majority of my free time to yoga practice and tango dancing. After completing a Master's degree in Biochemistry, I found myself immersed in Yoga Teacher's training and later in Yoga therapy training, which lead me to a realization of the incredible power of healing from within when body, mind and Spirit come to One. I fell in love with myself, with all humans and with the entire nature and Universe. When I am walking through the woods, climbing the mountains or quietly enjoying the setting or rising sun, I know that this is why I live.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many people traveling through Bloomington, Indiana and surfed in Orlando, California, New Mexico, Illinois, and Colorado!!! All have been wonderful experiences!!! I love it, love it, love it, and it gives me a sense of how connected we all are!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted when I lived in an apartment with my sweet roommate. Now I live in a house with my husband and we are setting a guest bedroom and will open up our home for surfers very soon!
I surfed in Orlando, Silver City and Albuquerque, West Chicago - magical, totally acceeded my expectations! Last couple of surfing experiences were in Boulder and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Every experience using this network was very enriching and unique.

Recently my yoga training with Yogi Amrit Desai and yoga therapy training with Kamini Desai have been life changing and transformational.

I will be glad to practice yoga with you. I also teach pilates and will be happy to do a postural analysis, pilates core stregthening, or a yoga therapy session. I am always learning about holistic practices, nutrision, overall health and welness and liberation of body, mind and soul. I can teach you Russian, tango, yoga, some chemistry and biology. My husband Gabriel is a great cook and he loves making delicious organic meals. By profession he is a film maker and a lover of a spiritual music.
