About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting god resultats in my studies, while staying in touch with the fun part of life. Hopefully that implies meeting some of all you awesome CS'ers out there :)

ABOUT ME

I see myself as an open person, and I enjoy interacting with other people, especially people from other countries, or with a different background from my own. I find CS to be a great opportunity to meet you people :)
Music has played an important role in my life, since I was about 6 years old, and started playing the drums in school. I have also started playing the piano later in my life. I don't have neither the time or the ambition to try and live of playing music at the moment, but I'll never give up playing in a band, and practicing on my own, that's for sure.
When traveling anywhere alone, listening to music is always what makes transportation a pleasant thing :)

PHILOSOPHY

Make sure you enjoy life and all it has to offer, as most of us only live once. But be aware that the ultimate joy for you could mean misery to someone else, so make an effort to even things out, or else karma might get you some day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the privilege of both hosting, surfing and participating in CS events, and have done so at every chance I got. I'll continue to take great joy in doing all of the above, whenever it's practically possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my 6 months of traveling Australia and The States, I was fortunate enough to stay at different couches. I had only great experiences, and met a lot of awesome people. This has made couchsurfing a natural part of traveling for me - I wouldn't go anywhere, without checking out the local CS'ers, maybe just for a drink and a night out :)
So far my hosting experience has been equally great and exciting to that of surfing. It's hard to put words on the joy you feel, when you can tell that someone is truly grateful for what you're offering as a host.

Interests

Music, movies, socializing, sports, anatomy, traveling, learning, food, beer, squash, tennis - and probably much of the stuff you can tell me about or teach me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Some examples of stuff I like:
Music: Stevie Wonder, Jamie Cullum, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Prodigy, Jamiroquai, Pharrell, Jarle Bernhoft, Michael Buble, 80's/90's danish hits.

Movies: Juno, Superbad, The Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight, American History X, Predator, Terminator 2, X-men first class.

Series: Sherlock, HIMYM, Breaking Bad

I'm not much of a books person, but I do spend at great deal of time reading articles on the internet, on pretty much any subject that might catch my interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a great deal of money traveling the world, is something I'd never do differently - seeing places like White Haven beach, Fraser Island, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and so on, can never be weighed out in money. Every person in the world should get a chance to see places like these - not only on TV.

I've also had some very heartwarming experiences through my job, where I get to help disabled people, make the best of their life every day. Experiencing someone with a serious brain injury, enjoying life to the fullest and having no regrets whatsoever, despite of the situation they're in, is something that inspires me on so many levels.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach you all I can about the things I know about; Music, my culture, my language, computers, physical training, massaging, juggling, etc.
I'd really like to learn more about how it is to have grown up, and lived in a country, very different from my own. Even just brushing up on my English, is something I'd like to do, which makes any conversation in English worth my time (or any other language for that matter) :)
Some other stuff I'd like to learn more about: Diving, nature, animals, foreign cooking and culture.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark, Netherlands
