ABOUT ME

About me, huh? Well I like to consider myself unique, but I guess all people tend to. I love to try anything when it comes to food and hobbies. There are certain things I know that I try to avoid. One of the things I like to do is wander. I would rather see all the sites untapped by tourists. I love to see the beauty in simple things and tend to find a deeper personal meaning by doing such. I'm not big on the city scene because I am a country girl. I do however enjoy a day out in the city to walk around and check everything out. Music, language, food and nature is what I enjoy most in my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything you do effects the world around you. If we all do better things, I believe the world will get better. Destruction is a quick mess and a long clean-up; building just takes a long time. I would rather build the world up to a better place so that people of the future can enjoy it more. We need to enjoy the beauty Mother Nature has given us as a privileged and understand it is just that. The beauty is overlooked and even played down when people take it for granted and destroy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my favorite experiences was while I was in Norway. I was taken into a group of friends who saw me as an old friend rather than a new one. On the second day of my trip, we stayed awake until sunrise jamming out and let our music flow.

Interests

Nature interests me. Whether it be a nice stroll through a lovely park or testing my hand in rock climbing. Music and food light up my days. I like all different types of music and I love to make my own beat on drums. I may not even be good, but I enjoy trying to make it work. I love to cook and I love to have "real" food. When I stay places I would rather eat the daily diet of a local than go to a restaurant and order something familiar of the menu. I'm big on reading so if I have to wait for an extended amount of time, you can almost guarantee that I'll have a book in my hand during it.
