ABOUT ME

Laurent and I are a quirky couple that try to always have an open mind and embrace new experiences. We have lived in the Vancouver area for over 5 years. We dream of one day being self-sustainable on a little farm where we can host many travelers, WOOFers and foster kids. My brother also lives with us and we may be moving in with some friends in the near future.....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted a few times (all have been great experiences) as well as surfed a bit. I have been meaning to make it out to some events but other than a few house parties have yet to get super involved in the Vancouver couch surfing community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

beginners have only hosted and surfed a handful of times but it has all been good so far ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving across Canada with my partner and brother and all the beautiful animals and scenery we saw! I think that has been my biggest highlight so far! I also Traveled throughout Europe with the highlight definitely being Italy.
Although it was very brief, Laurent did sing with Tina Turner for about 7 seconds :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to build a house and all the varying things that is associated with building a house: plumbing, electrical etc. I know how to listen (really i took a course in listening)and I can knit, cook, play tennis, Laurent can speak many languages and is always willing to learn new things, anything. and above all, keep bees.
