Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first Couchsurfing experience took place in Paris. One of the most friendliest dudes I've ever met hosted myself and about six other random people. He had a 3-bedroom apartment with several beds to a room and the experience was somewhere between staying at a hostel and vacationing at a friend's lake cabin. The group did everything together, including cooking some French staples at his pad, bar-hopping, walking around the city, taking brief French lessons from our host, watching soccer/football games, and staying up late drinking/chatting/playing games. My first experience far exceeded my expectations and I do not believe I would have enjoyed Paris as much if I hadn't Couchsurfed.
