About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Laugh, Learn, Share

ABOUT ME

After working for the past few years I've finally rejoined the world of vagabonding. I've been booking one way tickets and taking my time exploring and making new friends. I'm returning to Southeast Asia after 5 years and looking forward to seeing it with new eyes. My first experiences there were brief but beautiful. I have no idea where I will end up but I know it will be exciting.

PHILOSOPHY

Make magic out of everything you can. Smile at strangers. Try anything once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a rookie but I am spreading the word about CS however I can while travelling. When I return home I am looking forward to being on the other side and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on the couches of many lovely people before joining. However, my first true CouchSurfing Experience was unforgettable and so were the people I met. It is great way to really understand a place and the people who make it what it is.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of all types of music from bluegrass to funk to indie to oldies. Fantastic Mr. Fox is one of my favorite movies. I'll watch anything that makes me laugh, makes me think, makes me feel inspired. I love poetry. Bukowski, Rumi, E.E. Cummings. Diane Ackerman is brilliant. I am a sucker for cookbooks and books on natural medicine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving over Mendoza. Hiking the NaPali coast. Working with the kids at Colibri in Cusco. Ayutthaya. Palenque. Patagonia. The streets of Philadelphia after the Phillies 2008 World Series victory.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and have plenty of stories to share. I can also tell you where to find the best cup of coffee in any city I've visited.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
