About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to celebrate my 20 years on this earth by making the next 20 fascinating, adventurous, even a little dangerous- to write books about the unbelievable places & people on the planet. I want my grandchildren to brag about me.

ABOUT ME

Is ¨finding yourself¨ still really cliché? It doesnt matter because whether you admit it or not, thats what we´re all out to do. I want to meet interesting people and see EVERYTHING this world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

being hosted is one of the most surprising/interesting/humbling experiences. ive learned that the greatest kindness is simply to give of yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive slept on all kinds of couches- old and new, saggy and firm, leather and pleather. Im really not picky, Ive been known to crash in an armchair if nothing else is available.

Interests

I love all music and black and white movies and cobblestone streets. I love art and history, coffee, and conversation. I am great at doing dishes, chopping, and following recipes- even better after a glass of cheap, red wine.

I wrote that ^ about 3 years ago and though I still stand by it, the tone makes me laugh a little. I also enjoy acai berry vodka... neat.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies- all, tarantino, foreign, beautiful, old, anything with song and choreographed dance (gene kelly).

music- music you can feel- oh crimeny, I wrote celtic at one point. who am I? I really like any music.

Books- reading sci-fi for class, and working my way through adapting literature to screenplay--
Also Ive read The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao at least five times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran down the Champs- Élysées in the pouring rain looking for the eiffel tower, and when I finally gave up and found shelter under a portable expresso cart I turned around to find myself right in front of it. The lightening was striking all around and it was the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen.

Since Ive been in Spain for a year Ive had some of the most incredible experiences-- catching starfish in Croatia, playing harmonica in Retiro, saving money under my tile floor.

Teach, Learn, Share

Im all about sharing -stories, music, drinks, couches, clothes, toothbrushes, recipes, pictures

Ive learned some great spanish recipes and my mom still makes the best banana bread ive ever had.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
