ABOUT ME

I have lived in, and visited, a lot of countries in my life, and both of my children were born outside the United States. One was born in Utrecht, Netherlands, the other in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2003, due to changed life circumstances, I suddenly and sadly stopped traveling. I missed it so much that I decided to go back to school to get a degree in Applied Linguistics so that I could teach EFL/ESL anywhere in the world. I currently live in Atlanta, GA, USA and have no plans to relocate outside of the country.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Don't think bad thoughts about anyone or anything--that bad energy just bounces right back at you. We create our own reality. Walk softly on the earth and do as little harm as possible.

I've never participated in couchsurfing, but I like the idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Closest experience was backpacking through Europe way back when. In the olden days when I was brave and had lots of excess energy.

Interests

I'm interested in almost anything--briefly. Problem is I get bored easily. Which is why travel is so wonderful. There's always something new. I like movies, reading, snow skiing, gentle hiking, snorkeling, yoga, reiki, meditation, aromatherapy, studying languages. Almost anything but scuba diving. I'm too claustrophobic for that.
