ABOUT ME

I'm a easy going person who works by day as a PhD student in the biomedical sciences, and by night is an eager bedroom/bar-dj, spinning disco tunes (and all its variants). Aside from messing around with turntables, I love taking pictures, hanging out with my friends, fiddling around in the kitchen and swimming. And of course, if I find the time I love to travel and meeting new people.

I listen to a lot different stuff, pretty much everything from electronica to jazz and everything in between, i.e. Foals,Broken Social Scene, T.Rex, Arthur Russell, Metro Area, Junior Boys, Marvin Gaye, MFSB, Lindstrom, Stan Getz, Aphex Twin, Joanna Newsom, Bon Iver, etc.
The same goes for my taste in movies. It's all over the place, i.e. Willow, Alien, A Single Man, Amores Perros, Bronson, The Last of the Mohicans, Memento, Dancer in the Dark, Kika, Fight Club, Away we Go, Stranger than Fiction, Paprika, etc.
Books, well, as long as it reads fluently I'm game. Terry Pratchett, Chuck Palahnuik, Nick Hornby, David Henry Sterry, Tom Lanoye are among the favorites.
