About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Removing barriers to education for children in Nicaragua
ABOUT ME
I'm the founder of a nonprofit called Go For Hope International.
In August of 2010 I packed up my family (wife and three kids) and moved to Nicaragua. After 9 months of cultural immersion we returned to our hometown. A short time later we started our nonprofit with the goal of giving back to the people who gave so much to us.
We now live in a church not far from SeaTac airport and have hosted a few CSers. I travel frequently for my job and try to Surf whenever possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Faith does not grow in the garden of certainty
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have been grateful for the kind hospitality of several CS friends over the past couple of years. We also promote the CS site and philosophy to our friends and family. And when the timing matches up with our busy (three kids + start-up + running) schedule we are happy to host other surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfing has provided us with a pleasant alternative to the typical sterilized hotel experience. We've met and made friends with quite a few CSers over the years.
