About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take a lot in, then turn it into something else.

ABOUT ME

Hello!
I'm new to CouchSurfing but I'm keen to get involved however I can to meet new people and help spread the goodness!

I'm a student at King's College London, currently living in London after a year in California.

Of all the various labels used to identify myself I could use 'feminist', 'environmentalist', 'anarchist', 'absurdist', and probably many others. Mostly, though, I'm just into the free exchange of ideas and living through peace, respect, openness and generosity.

I'm here to experience new things and hear people's stories, so get in touch!

PHILOSOPHY

Truth and storytelling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to a couple of CS events in San Francisco, and made some great friends to explore the city with!
I've not yet had the pleasure of staying with or hosting anyone. However, I've been the recipient of overwhelming hospitality in many parts of the world, including Japan, Australia and Cambodia. I've seen what it takes to bring people together and share themselves out of pure goodness. And that is: just a friendly hello!

Interests

Some of my favourite things include:

Animation, juggling, environmentalism, activism, kung-fu movies, climbing trees, coffee, tea (I am English, after all), ale, Kurt Vonnegut, learning languages, telling stories, hearing stories, gardening, cats, taking photographs, and Michael Jackson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bathed in hot springs in the hills of Fujino, Japan. They're something special, all right. Just the right side of too hot, falling cherry blossoms over the pool, lush green hills rising over you, a light Spring drizzle at dusk makes steam rise from the surface of the water...yep, something special.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty strong knowledge of pop culture, very handy in pub quizzes.
I speak basic Japanese. I can speak one sentence in Spanish, and one sentence in German. I can teach you those if you like.
I'm always ready to tell a story to anyone who will listen.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Thailand, Viet Nam
