ABOUT ME

By day, I teach hordes of small Vietnamese people how to speak English more good, and spend my evenings pondering the finer cinematic qualities of Dolph Lundgren’s film catalogue.

I like reading books by Hemingway, Vonnegut, Thompson, Fitzgerald, Wilde, and Whitman, and watching films by Wes Anderson, Ridley Scott, Alfred Hitchcock, Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen, and The Coens. I have still not emotionally recovered from the cancellation of Firefly.

Potential career aspirations include: Dinosaur farmer, super-famous celebrity writer, 15th century explorer/cartographer, welfare queen, cyborg.

I am a hack of writer with absolutely no professional qualifications whatsoever. I did have a brief stint at a newspaper, but spent most of his time updating Facebook and Twitter, so it hardly counts.

I do, however, have a marked propensity for verbosity, and love it dearly when people read some of the things I write.
