About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover as much of the world and its inhabitants while learning from everything and trying to have the best time possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm a chilled out guy with a very open mind, up for trying everything once when the timing is appropriate. I always try and keep a positive outlook and take things as they come, I don't spend much time worrying about things which can be good and bad I guess. Still don't know what I want to do with my life but untill I find out I plan to travel as much as I can learn as much as I can from people all around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I think everyone should always try to keep an open mind and accept people for who they are. My favorite quotes I try and live by are 'Judge not lest ye be judged' and 'Live and let Live'. I'm not religious but I believe people can be spiritual, not in the sense of being close to god but more in the sense of people close the natural and appreciating the beauty and potential of the universe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While studying in Edinburgh me and my housemates hosted people for 2 years in both our uni flat and eventually our rented flat, we used my flat mates profile (Friends link is Eric Nelson to see reviews and feedback).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had a great time hosting people and haven't had a bad experience yet. I love the community and now hope to travel a bit my self as explore other peoples couches.
Interests
I enjoy bars, clubs generally chilling out and having thoughtful conversations. I'm pretty tolerant of most things but I hate celebrity culture and fake touristy things. I enjoy all sport but Im generally bad at all of them apart from pool but I doubt that even counts as a sport.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies and music as well as books but unfortunately I lack the concentration skills to finish most books. I love documentaries or any film that stimulates the mind and get you thinking but I also love comedies and action as long as it isnt too cheesy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been fortunate enough to travel up the amazon river and up the andes in Peru, I spent 2 months at an internship in HongKong, I spent 1 month traveling overland through countries in Africa then 2 months traveling through South Africa where I spend a month teaching local kids how to surf in Jeffreys Bay (although it was more supervising than teaching) and also got to spend an awesome year studying abroad in California.
Teach, Learn, Share
Unfortunately Im pretty talentless.. Although if you need some one to teach you how to start a hobby but not continue it Im your man.
