Overview
About Me
It's quite difficult to talk about myself, but I will try.
I am Javier Bregante, a Spanish 21-years-old guy that has just started studying a Master in Tissue Engineering in Vienna (Austria). I have been living abroad since more than a year as I spent the year abroad as well making the last year of my Bachelor in Germany. I love meeting new people and traveling and that is mainly why I am here.
Apart of that I am really easy-going and I enjoy talking about everything. As my studies show, I am quite mad of every scientific field, but not only biological one, in which I am more focused on studying, I really love as well Physics and Maths.
I am keen on sports as well, both practising and watching them. I really think that talking about sports is quite a universal issue, it doesn't mind me about football, NBA or even the last triathlon championship.
But there are still so many things that I haven't told here, so the best way to know me is just meeting me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As stated above, I love traveling and meeting new people from different countries and culture and in order to accomplish it Couchsurfing is an useful tool. For me when visiting a new city or country it doesn't count just visiting the most known places, I really like getting into the culture of the country and this is why I am here.

Music, Movies, and Books
For me talking about my favourite music is a bit difficult because I have a little problem that almost every music I listen to I enjoy it (of course with some exceptions), so I couldn't say any favourite one, but just share some music and for sure both of us will enjoy ourselves.
Regarding to movies it is quite different, I have watched quite many and I have some favourite ones that I have rewatched several times like Viridiana, Schindler's List, Cidade de Deus or Pulp Fiction.
But even more than films, I love series and I am usually following some of them at the same time. My favourite ones I would say that are Borgen, Sherlock, True Detective (just first season) and Fargo.
And finally, regarding to books, I really enjoy reading and I could spend such a long time just holding a book on my hands and reading it. My favourite writers are Kundera, Böll, Zweig and Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I made volunteering work in a lost village of Czech Republic.
- I made an Interrail around Poland when I was under 18s.
But I would like to mention here the things that I haven't still done and that my dreams are:
- Visiting Iceland (omg, that island...)
- Doing a long trip around the Balcans (so many countries and so much history)
- Doing a gap year around Southeast of Asia and finally arriving to Australia and New Zealand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really think that everyone is quite ignorant because there are so many things that we don't know, the only one difference is that everyone ignore different things, so that is why is quite easy to teach, to learn and to share so many things between people.
