About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make bad puns in every language and to eat as much delicious food as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm a geek for language, food, and pop culture. My foodie appetite knows no bounds--except for mayonnaise and eggs. I have a weakness for puns.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dragged a cardboard stand-up of Legolas out of a bookshop into a heavily-trafficked parking lot in order to give it to a friend for her birthday.

I ate amazing blue cheese-covered steak in Prague (with a drink and side!) for under 10 Euros. :)

I traveled solo through Belgium and England--and didn't miss a bus or train!

Teach, Learn, Share

When you come to Germany, it's probably a good idea to stow a rain jacket or umbrella in your tote bag. That way, when--not if!--it rains, you'll be dry.

Blue laws are still in effect in many parts of South Carolina. Be prepared for late opening hours in stores on Sunday.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Slovakia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
