About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be creative, travel as much as possible, Work smarter not harder

ABOUT ME

I study architecture at Aarhus School of Architecture, I live with my girlfriend Katrine and I'm a laid back, open-minded kinda guy. I love to have fun, to party, to meet new people and above all to TRAVEL and everything it carries with it. My friends would probably describe me as a creative, funny (willingly or unwillingly), charismatic and hard-working guy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started couchsurfing a couple of years ago, and it was as if a whole new world opened itself to me - the actual world - not the world of hostels (which can be nice) and hotels, but the real world full of real people. Learning from and being part of other cultures, even for a short while is definitely a passion of mine, whether it be trying new and different foods, going to see a local band, maybe something formal like taking part in a religious ceremony of sorts (though I'm an agnostic leaning on atheist, I respect all people and their beliefs as long as they don't try to 'reqruit' me for their cause) or more likely enjoying a beer at a bar talking about football, music, art, politics, food or whatever comes to mind - I'm all for it.

Interests

Music (I've been singing and playing guitar for quite a few years), food (cooking, eating, talking about it), drawing/painting/art in general (doing, exploring, learning), nature, traveling (duh!), BEER, exploring and just about any kind of other fun or just different thing to what I'm used to - I like trying new stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hard one... I've taken part in an underground hip-hop concert in an old soviet factory on the outskirts of Kiev with only one person who spoke a bit of english as a guide and a million drunk Ukrainians who definitely couldn't rap ending up in the apartment of an extremely nice, drunk blacksmith artist... fun night.

I won a luxury trip to Dubai with everything included through work (supermarket), because I sold the most of a particular brand of soup - which was pretty amazing. Dubai was awesome, especially because I didn't have to think of what anything cost, but that was "just" general sightseeing, meeting people, driving lamborghinis and hummer limos, desert safaris, drinking and so on, but then one evening I met an ethiopian girl who invited me to an etheopian easter lunch in Abu Dhabi - so of course I left the other super market fols, grabbed a cab and went to Abu Dhani where I apart from the amazing experience the Easter lunch was, got to see some crazy architecture and different things from what I saw in Dubai...

Thats enough writing for now I think - you'll have to meet me and we'll talk more!
