Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore California and hopefully find a job.
ABOUT ME
I'm an adventurer from the suburbs of Chicago. Been between a few colleges, seeking a music degree with English creative writing. Taking the next couple years to work and reconfigure my plan to finish school. My family's important to me, and I'm the youngest of three. I've seen a good deal of the midwest and looking to explore the more progressive West coast.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to take after philosophies of writers like Kerouac and Krakauer, who saw adventure and experience as the most fulfilling teachers of life. I believe strongly in following the heart, but keeping in mind those who care and worry. Responsibility is key, in whatever paths we choose.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the CS Project, so am interested to learn how it works and to experience its benefits. Donated $25 initially, and looking to give more if I can find what I'm looking for in my future travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've crashed on many friends' couches/floors over the past couple college years, but have also done a share of camping/ backpacking. Between Colorado, Utah, Arkansas, and the Midwest I've learned how to camp and rough it. Now that I'm looking for a job out west, I figure living and sleeping indoors is the proper mode of operation.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be willing to teach those interested in playing guitar some basics, as well as sketching and painting principles. Patience, persistence, and faith in a dream we won't give up.
