About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep growing and learning

ABOUT ME

Male, 42, injured sportman, singer and traveller.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't deceive yourself: identify what you really want and go for it.
Be patient: worthwhile aims often need years of effort to get to them and decades of effort to keep them.
Be respectful: you won't feel happy if you get your aim by cheating somebody.
Be open: Every day you can learn. Everybody can teach you something. Bad experiences make you grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling around I like to meet people of the place because you only get to know a place by knowing its people. The same way, I like to contact travellers coming to my town and show some of it through some of me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I still have neither hosted anybody nor been hosted, I have met people hosted by other couchsurfers and the experience has been great. I have learned a lot about other places, other occupations, other ways of travelling... hopefully I also gave them some worthwhile ideas in exchange, or at least some fun!

Interests

I'm interested in many different things: music, especially choral and lyric singing, literature, mountain hiking, football, cross-country skiing, travelling, science, geography, foreign languages...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Unforgiven, American Beauty, Casablanca, any by Hitchcock...
Music: depending on the moment, classical music, especially choral music, disco, rock, heavy, folk... I appreciate good singers, no matter the style.
Books: Crime and Punishment (Dostoievski), The Bonfire of the Vanities (Tom Wolfe), The Catcher in the Rye (Salinger), El Reflejo de las Palabras (Kader Abdollah).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As Real Zaragoza supporter, one of the most amazing things I've ever seen was the victory of my team in the UEFA cup winners Cup by means of this goal IN THE LAST MINUTE OF THE EXTRA TIME!!!!
