Interests
Im going to write about the things I find the opposite of Interesting here: Laundry, Pavement, Dog Hair, Broken Electronics and spoon collections.
But seriously I actually like these things: Vintage tank tops, old school oakley sunglasses, how music can change my mood, funny pictures, delicious meats and laughing until I cry.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love leaving movies with a moral dilema or question to ponder - Crash, American History X, Gone Baby Gone, Inception are a few that come to mind, I also am a real lover of will ferrel comedies. But overall I'm an avid film watcher and enjoy good movies of any genre!
Music is a huge part of my life - I play drums, beatbox, play guitar a bit and make mixes on my computer. My music library is over 10, 000 organized songs and they vary from dubstep to jazz to brittany spears to a tribe called quest to slip knot to top 40. My philosophy is that if it sounds good to you, who cares what anyone else thinks about it :).
Harry Potter turned me into a reader when I was a young child - I still enjoy the films and books today. I also became a big fan of anecdote based non-fiction - books like the tipping point and blink by malcolm gladwell, or freakonomics. More recently have been enjoying some chuck palaniuk (fight club), margaret atwood (a handmaidens tail, oryx and crake and the year of the flood) and a book called "we think" that has the tag line - mass innovation, not mass production
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fought a bear
Ran with the bulls
Jumped from a 60 foot cliff in Montenegro
Went 120 days without washing my hair ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit on Volleyball, Do it yourself clothing (acid washing or cutting old stuff into new stuff) and beatboxing. I want to learn new skills and new things about the World and myself. I love talking about music and that usually leads me to sharing it.
