Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I don't have a couch to loan, but I'd be happy to meet travelers for coffee and offer advice about traveling northern Arizona.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
1990-1991, traveling solo in the Pacific Northwest, crashing on couches — 1994-1995, traveling partnered but camping out and dropping in on people as we wandered from Alaska to Baja and back again — friends, family, friends of family, and distant relations have helped me so much along the way, it's time to give back.
Interests
I spend my time working (editing and writing), working out, and relaxing at home with a good book and my cat for company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a parasailing trip in the Swiss Alps that turned out to be much more than the gentle downward glide I anticipated. I was flying tandem and my pilot set a personal altitude record that day, as we soared high above the Eiger.
Teach, Learn, Share
In my day job I'm an editor and staff writer for a magazine, and on weekends I freelance. So I can be a decent writing coach if someone wants help or inspiration.
