ABOUT ME

I'm a 31 year-old Australian just recently returned to Melbourne after 3 months of travel (Russia, Scandinavia, Europe, Morocco and Ghana) on the back of living/working in London for 9 months. I'm Social Worker by profession and most enjoy working with refugee and migrant communities in community development roles.

Being healthy, happy, and active is important to me and my interests include travel (obviously!), books, film & music, outdoor activities and cooking and eating new foods.

Despite being registered on the site for a little while I'm still new to participating in the CS community, and am a virgin host! Unfortunately no couch available at present but still keen to meet travellers for a coffee, drink or some sightseeing if you're in Melbourne.

Really interested to meet new and different people and share some international experiences with them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm only able to meet and greet, as I'm recently back in my home town and couchless. Really interested in cultural exchange, including language, and more than happy to show people around.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing place I've visited to date was the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. The animals and landscapes were just out of this world and truly amazing. I'd love to return one day to volunteer there for a longer period of time.

Snorkelling in Malaysia, hiking in Patagonia (Argentina/Chile) and visiting Machu Piccu are also up there.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'd like to learn about different societies, cultures and languages. I can share my experiences to date, both at home in Melbourne, and the various places I've visited. I'm interested in really talking to the people I meet through CS, and getting to know them.
