About Me

Salut !
I am an urban planner/woodworker from Montréal, Québec. Just finished my woodworking internship and I am looking for new adventures around the world.

I love to discuss about everything and I am very open-minded. I am an optimistic person and I always look at the good side of everything.

I love humor, I love new ideas and I love to go out (especially raves and electronic music festivals) .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is just amazing, did it in Canada, USA, Europe and China and it is just the best. Meet local people that share experience and stories with you is just awesome. I feel privilege and honour having the opportunity to share moments with people I welcomed and that welcomed me.

Interests

Arts - From funky Warhol to realistic Otto Dix, art is our human way to express what everyday life can’t.
Music - Electro, acid house, techno, pretty much whatever makes us free to dance and feel like there is no tomorrow.
Architecture - My passion... classic, modernist, futurist, Suburbia Googie...they all have their charm.
Crazy and experimental movies - Buñuel, Boyle, Tarantino... I spent to much time on movies.
Languages - Learning a language is the best way to get the essence of a culture. If you talk to a human in a language he/she understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him/ her in his/her own language, that goes to the heart
Society - From politics to social debates talking about society is one of my passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the most incredible thing I did recently was to hike the GR20 in Corsica. They say it’s the hardest hike in Europe… and I can’t deny that!

Otherwise I will always remember my first trip to the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Once you are on one of the dunes, time stops, reality freezes and senses are magnified.
