ABOUT ME

Im interested in anything outside the box, the house, or the ordinary. I grew up in San Antonio and went to school in Texas. I just left teaching to go back to school for a computer science degree. I'm organizing for progressive causes and I want to talk about water!

I'm on a road trip to the Pacific Northwest to escape the Texas heat and spend time among the trees.

I believe in keeping life and the world in perspective. You can learn something from everyone, all you have to do is listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling and hosting travelers. I like people who are on an adventures and I like to plan and have my own.

Interests

I like to learn about history. The history of the place I am in, the people I am with, and the cultures I encounter. I like to play the guitar, watch good movies, and listen to good music.

Politically I am an American System Traditionalist. We have solutions to the economic crisis that will put people back to work, rebuild the nation, and bring people dignity and security.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jam bands and live music are my favorite. I like the Shins,Broken Bells, Modest Mouse, and Spoon. Of course the classics like the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, and The Doors. BLUEGRASS! I like to keep a movie balance between documentaries and fiction. The best job I ever had was at a used bookstore!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've woken up in the morning to look down the mountain and watch 27 radio telescopes scanning the sky.
