Overview
About Me
I am originally from Metz in the northeast of France and I have german origins (my mom lives in Hamburg, Germany). I now live in Drôme, in the south of France, in the center of a small city that is at the foot of the Vercors (mountains) and along the Drôme river, a beautiful river with turquoise colors.
I am a youth leader at a youth and cultural center (MJC in french) and I love my job. I work with teenagers aged 11 to 14 during school holidays. I have a job that allows me to have a lot of free time and to engage in various activities: forró (a Brazilian couple's dance), indoor and outdoor climbing, linocut printing, and spending time with my friends.
I'm also artist, you can see my works on Instagram : @jilchristiany_art
I am training in an 3 years art therapy study.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing (since 2010 !) to meet new people and morever locals when I'm travelling.
I haven't traveled much in recent years because I prefer to travel within France, to discover my own country, or to Germany, to visit my family (Hamburg and Berlin). Therefore, I would be happy to meet foreigners to practise my english and spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love music ! I spend a lot of time listening music, discovering new things, or just listening to the classics.
I don't really like watching movies or series.
At the moment, I read books about feminism (Mona Chollet, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, etc.) or psychology and I like documentary comics.
