About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live abroad in interesting places, and learn from interesting people

PHILOSOPHY

I am still trying to figure this out, but I think that interpersonal relationships are what really make life important. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do long term, but I wouldn't be surprised if I tried to come back to South America. I think every year of my life has been better than the last because I know more, know more people, and have had more meaningful experiences, and I'm working to keep it that way until the day I die.

I believe in tolerance and meeting all sorts of people and seeing what pops out.

Interests

I am pretty easy going, and enjoy a lot of things. I especially enjoy music (electronic, jazz, 90's dance music, guilty pop, and more or less anything if it is live), movies, cultural events, food, and just talking to people

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to avoid filling this out because I just won't stop.

Movies: I love movies of all kinds. My favorite movie is probably Sans Soleil, but I also really enjoy Tarantino at his best and his worst, No Country For Old Men, The Big Lebowski, The Good The Bad and the Ugly, Ikiru, and so many more that I am forgetting to list. Wong Kar Wai blows my mind, Chungking Express has the best ending of a movie ever. But honestly I'd rather just watch movies than list them off :)

Here is some music I like: Rex the Dog, The Gotan Project, Hernan Cattaneo, Banco de Gaia (so good), Hybrid, Cut Copy, Paul Oakenfold's old stuff, some of Tiesto's stuff, Paul Van Dyk, Armada label stuff (guilty pleasures...), David Guetta, Agnelli and Nelson, Danger, Justice, Daft Punk, The Future Sound of London, DT8 Project, Mauro Picotto, The Crystal Method, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Solarstone, William Orbit (the man), Ulrich Schnauss, Gotan Project...

Also the documentary Planet Earth blows my mind.
