Hi,
My name is Jean-Yves from France/Madagascar, most people call me JD it makes it a lot easier. I recently turned 27 and decided for my birthday to visit many places in the US and Canada. I'm ending my trip here in New York City on the 30th of July.
I chose NYC to end my trip because I find the people awesome and original and their way of seeing the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience another way of traveling, meet new people who share my way of seeing things or on the contrary meet people that have different ways of seeing things than me in order to exchange.
I feel like couchsurfing will make my last days here less boring and way more interesting

Interests

Apart from cruising around big cities and filming with my scooter, I love learning languages and discovering about people's culture.
I speak French, English, Malagasy, German and I'm learning Spanish and Danish

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We went to a competition with my friends in the west coast of France and had such a good time that we forgot to buy a ticket back home. So we ended up pushing our scooter for like 80 miles until we fell asleep on a roundabout. We only took a train the next morning ^^

Teach, Learn, Share

If you speak many languages, just know I might ask you a lot of questions about how you got into these languages because I find it very fascinating :D!
And if you one day want to travel in Europe well I can share with you all the experiences I've had so far as I visit many countries there all year long.
