About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world one Cache at a time
ABOUT ME
I just moved back to Alaska after almost a 9 year hiatus. I love my kayak and my GPS. I am mostly an introvert. I am from Alaska and will always love fishing the Kenai. My perfect day starts with a good 8 hours of sleep the night before followed by a 8:30 am wake up to make french toast, brew a big pot of Pike Place tea, sit down and watch a movie. (I save my reading for train rides and the evenings) with great weather I would go for a jog in the woods, and geocaching from my kayak or in the city center. I like the thrill that people around me have no clue what I am doing searching around rocks and road signs. If I could do all these things while listening to NPR or an audio book then my life would be complete each and every day.
PHILOSOPHY
Explore the beautiful world that God gave us until he is done with it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only attended a few community event so far. I was very nervous but a new friend who happened to also be a CF was there also. Once we ordered our food the evening went swell! I felt so comfortable and I met a lot of people, even someone who gave me advise on my upcoming Eastern Europe tour.
Now that I am back home I look forward to meeting fellow surfers from my home port which at times is a new adventure for me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I finally feel like a real surfer. I surfed with two great girls in Prague for 4 days. met a couple of other CFs while visiting. It was such a great experience. The greatest feeling while in Prague was meeting a couple from North Pole, Alaska and a girl whose college roommate was from Soldotna. This world is too small not to explore!
