PHILOSOPHY

I am currently adapting my life to Einstein's quote: "A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving"...but he was way better at it then I am

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Spain for 6 months and traveled around to a few other countries (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, "Catalonia").
I've been stranded in both the Canary Islands and Brussels.
More importantly, I've lived in Lubbock, TX for 7 years without developing any psychosis, so that's amazing in its own right.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've actually taught two different classes at the university level (organic chemistry and biology) so I enjoy exchanging academic knowledge and cultural knowledge as well. I'm a huge music geek, in that I love nearly all genres and have an extensive personal collection. In addition, I love to stay up-to-date with world news, pop culture and the evolving human narrative in general. While in Spain I became well versed in the Spanish language but my lack of practice has caused lapses and I'm no longer as confident in my spanish abilities, so I would love to practice Spanish more, or any language for that matter.
