Easy-going but a planner.

My penchant for traveling began as a young child, with trips to Germany and India every few years. Since then, I have taken several trips to Mexico, all around the U.S., and most recently, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Koln, Frankfurt, Cairo, Dar Es Salaam & Zanzibar

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have been hosted three times, and had the chance to meet up with a few people for drinks and nights out in their respective towns.

In Detroit, I have had a chance to meet up with travelers to show them around, and where to get a good local brew.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had an amazing couchsurfing experience so far! New friends in Prague showed my friends around to great places to relax and enjoy the nightlife. Tibo (Paris) hosted me for a few days and was a wonderful guide to the city, giving me a real taste of what his life is like.

In 2010, I had the opportunity to surf with Payal and Akshay in Amsterdam and Sam V. in Paris. Both were very gracious hosts, and accomodated our brief trips through their cities. I'm very happy to have shared meals, good beers and great conversation with these folks, and hope to get back out and visit them soon!

Swam through coves off of the southern beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Provided medical relief to Nicaraguan refugees in La Carpio, Costa Rica. Watched the sun rise on the Charles Bridge over the Vltava in Prague. New Years raves in Goa, India. Maciej's first experiences with Amsterdam coffee shops's finest. 24 hour train-ride up the west coast of India, from Trivandrum to Goa. Worked in an orphanage in Kerala, India.
