Overview
About Me
I work as a forest manager for private forests, basically my childhood dream. Too bad Belgium doesn't have that many forests. Apart from forestry, I have many different passions though, and since I still don't exactly know which ones I want to focus on in the future, I just want to travel for now and find out where I belong. Untill now I have already had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany and work in forestry in Norway and in a botanical garden in India.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like most of the CS-crowd, I like to meet people from all over the world with different backgrounds and stories. Hosting them is an opportunity to bring faraway places into your everyday life. Being hosted offers you the chance to discover a place through the eyes of a local.
Interests
I have many hobbies and interests: I've been a scout, I'm in a choir, and I'm interested in everything that has to do with tiny houses, off-the-grid life and sustainability in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17, me and three friends went to Santiago de Compostela on foot. That was the start of my sense of adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about trees if you want. Also, I speak Dutch, English, German, French and some Spanish, so I'm always eager to practice different languages!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like telling and hearing stories
