To explore as much as possible before corporate life controls me.

ABOUT ME

Love the outdoors. Adventure sports are a necessity. I've been sky diving, paragliding, hang gliding, rock climbing, caving, canyoneering, abseiling, and bungee jumping. I live for water sports including rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and even a two man shredder from time to time.

I'm pretty relaxed and try to have fun in everything I do. I really love to teach outdoor skills and have been a volunteer whitewater kayaking instructor for 2 years now. I just graduated as a mechanical engineer, and I start working for Anheuser Busch in August.

I haven't explored much of the US, but I studied for 5 months in France and got to travel all over Europe on the weekends. I recently got back from 6 weeks each in New Zealand and Australia with another study abroad program. Went camping in a number of national parks and got to see the magnificent Milford Sound outside Queenstown, NZ.

PHILOSOPHY

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

Happiness is my goal in life. See the best in every situation. It wouldn't be an adventure if everything went as planned.

Been a CS member for over a year, but haven't gotten involved yet. Maybe that will change soon.

兴趣

Whitewater kayaking is my go to sport. Drinking with friends is my passion. I love meeting new people and challenging myself (especially outdoors)

While in Australia, I spent one week on Heron Island. It's a marine biology research station operated by the University of Queensland located on the Southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. You could walk around the entire island in under 30 minutes and there was no other land on the horizon. Best week of my life. Stayed in the water for 5 days straight between snorkeling and SCUBA diving. I wish I could go back every day.

I am a mechanical engineer and love learning technical adventure sports. I love climbing, caving, and whitewater kayaking and rafting. I am a kayaking instructor at Georgia Tech and love teaching others not only how to kayak, but how to kayak safely (even though kayaking is not safe... haha).
