About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seek truth. Live love. Tell jokes that make you cry laughing so hard.

ABOUT ME

I'm an American girl living in Cincinnati, Ohio who recently began fueling my passion for travel and experiencing the world. I just hit 8 countries in 10 months, which given the fact that I work a full-time 9 to 5, I consider quite a feat. I have an amazing job that gives me over 5 weeks vacation a year so I try to take full advantage. In Cincinnati I live in the city, and love spending time with friends at happy hours, parties, and various music shows. I like to stay active and do so by hitting the tennis courts whenever I can. Hoping to do lots of local camping/climbing/rafting/etc this year. I'm in the midst of a life-long pursuit of truth, and therefore love any and all conversation on spirituality and philosophy (especially when you start talking about its intersection with science). Cool stuff, and I'm just beginning to delve in.

PHILOSOPHY

Live love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost any music. Love singer/songwriters, anything with acoustic guitar, folk, bluegrass, pop/hip hop/r&b, techno/dubstep... if it's live, I'm there and I'm loving it. With regard to books, I'm a total sucker for young adult fiction (can you say Hunger Games?), but also love adult dystopian novels, and books on spirituality and the search for truth. Most recent favorite is 'The Joy of Living' by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the Hindu festival of Holi in India. Craziest and coolest experience of my life thus far. Covered from head to toe in colored powder and water (that ended up permanently dying my hair pink and yellow) celebrating with the most welcoming people in the world. An absolutely amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unless you're eager to learn about science and data, I'm not going to be teaching you much :)
