To Start a New Life and Have a Family

ABOUT ME

I was born on Arpil 15, 1971 in London, Ontario, Canada. I was a full-time lay minister from September 1990 to September 1997. From that point onward I have been trying to search for my place in this world while trying to find a career that I am good at. I have also been in the process of finding my own spirituality after a life time of indoctrination. I am coming to the point that I can honestly say that I beleive I would like to be a school teacher of some kind, possibly of secondary school English or history or something to do with teaching economics. On the other hand I am quite good with languages and love to learn more Portugese and Spanish as I would also like to live somewhere in Latin America. I have been struggling with significant chronic health issues, largely due to lead poisoning but refuse to give in to them. I want to find my mission in life and I do beleive that belonging to this community is part of the answer. I beleive in social and economic justice and like helping out people. I am in the process of changing my lifestyle for the better I hope.

PHILOSOPHY

I am come from a Judeo-Christian background and still have many of those beleifs and values how ever I am not adverse to other ways of viewing the world and universe. I beleive in doing to others as I would have them to me, and I think living by that "Golden Rule" has made me a better person. I like being a help to others and would like to pursue a profession in teaching or languages or possibly both.

At the present I am only a prospective guest at some else's home, but once I have myown home I would be more than happy to have a guest!

I like music of all sorts but love jazz, R&B, and Soul, along with some Folk music. I also love good movies(usually European, Latin American, or Australian) and love good books and enjoy trying new food. I am strongly interested in social and economic issues and tend to have tendency towards the political left although I do not consider myself a political person. I love to travel and I want to learn how to dance.

My favourite books are the Bible, Hells Angels by Hunter S. Thompson, The Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo and The Revolt of the Cockroach People both by Oscar Zeta Acosta, to name just a few. As stated before my favourite music is jazz but love music of all kinds. Favourite movies of mine are Lawrence of Arabia, No Country For Oldmen, and The Motorcycle Diaries, North By Northwest, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Ed Wood. I love cartoons such as Merry Melodies, Rockie and Bullwinkle, The Simpsons, The Family Guy, and Roger Ram Jet. These have got to be some of the greatest comedy ever produced in my opinion! I also enjoy some Jerry Lewis and Monty Python for comedy.

I have been told that I am a knowledgeable person but I honestly don't feel all that knowledgeable. I am here to gain experience and friends along the way and the find out where it is in this world I belong. I AM NOT a freedloader and INSIST in helping out when and where I can whenever I stay at someelse's home. This includes buying groceries, any house cleaning, and doing errands for my host or hostess.
