我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My couchsurfing experience has been overwhelmingly positive, the colourful individuals i've met in the time i´ve been couchsurfing has really been the highlight of travelling.

Everything! But mainly history, wine, whisky, music, politics, nature, astrophysics..... I always love to learn about something new too.

Too much to fill this out, though if i had to say a favourite book it would have to be '100 years of solitude', and two previous favourite authors have been Murakami and Martin Amis. And if I have to mention some musicians Tom Waits, Boards of Canada, Trentemoller, Mazzy Star, Duke Ellington and R.L. Burnside are some current favourites.

Riding up Mount Vesuvius on a horse, hitchhiking up (and down) the entire West Coast of the USA, from the top of Europe (Nordkapp) to the bottom (Tarifa and Athens), and around Southern Africa. Seeing Norway's Fjords for the first time, spending over 10 days on Russian trains, hiking alongside Lake Baikal, getting lost in the beauty of many european cities, relaxing by Lake Titicaca, visiting the Great Rift valley, almost getting stranded in the Namib desert.
