ABOUT ME
Quirky, helpful, soft-hearted, sometimes shy, sometimes hyper, bright and happy.
PHILOSOPHY
Give without expectations, live beyond expectations. :)
Interests
When at home I am usually reading, painting, watching movies, pondering the cosmos or trying to clean the endless dust that gathers. When not at home I'm cycling (for long rides to faraway places!), teaching English, wandering around city streets, relaxing in coffee shops, or writing in parks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite travel experience happened while biking through the countryside of Laos, riding along the Mekong. We ran into a little boy who invited my friend and I to come back to his school apartment. He was studying English and wanted to talk to us. He showed us his whiteboard full of words he didn't know and all the other students came by his room to see what two foreign girls were doing hanging out with their friend. So adorable and friendly.
As far as being awestruck, there's nothing quite like a beach at sunrise, or the sky at night somewhere like Alaska. I remember the glow of a full moon reflecting eerily off the cliffs of Mt. Siguniang, and the elation of reaching the top of Mt. Fuji. I'm also awed by the crush of people crossing the street in Shibuya, or the neon glow of Dotombori.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Japanese, how to make jewelry, and I will share my paints with you if you want to have a painting party. :)
