I just moved to Chicago and don't really know anyone, and I've been meaning to make a couchsurfing account for a while, so this seemed like a good time! I love to write, and I have a travel writing blog that you can find at http://jackietravels.com. I really want to meet some fellow travelers through this site, and we can explore Chicago together! I might get lost if I'm showing you around, but I promise to buy you beer afterwards.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, but I'd love to participate in any way I can! I want to host and surf and do it all. Right now I can't really afford to go out and travel, so I'm hoping to host some awesome people who I can live vicariously through.

Teach, Learn, Share

On a basic note, I want to learn French! I really want to be fluent. I would love a French penpal, or just a French-speaking friend I could talk to on a regular basis.

I think I could also teach a lot about traveling alone as a young female, which can be terrifying but also really empowering and fun. I would love to meet more girls who love to go out and see the world by themselves. But I'm really open to anyone, from anywhere, anytime -- I think everyone has something to teach and to learn.
