In November 2014, I traded my southern German home town near Munich for a big city adventure in Hamburg. By now, I know Hamburg much better than I ever even knew the city I grew up in... there's so much to discover and I love this place from the bottom of my heart!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't been as active here as I used to be, simply because I haven't been able to afford as much traveling, and I moved a lot so there was no opportunity to even get settled, let alone host. I have surfed in Brisbane, San Diego, Amsterdam, Bangkok and other places, and I've had the great luck of meeting tons of cool people, either in those places or when I lived in Bremen (also thanks to my international university!). So I'm still here, although somewhat more quietly, because I love this concept and I hope the opportunity to make more use of it comes along again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu. The landscapes were breathtakingly beautiful. The hike was breathtaking on a whole different level with huge changes in altitude, and definitely the most challenging thing I've done.
