About Me

I'm a fun-loving, outdoorsy, outgoing geek. I did the Computer Science thing and then moved to SF to build fun things.

Outside of work, I hike, bike, camp, bake, and just hang out with friends. I'm known to be smart, creative, supportive, funny, and very huggy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Gates of the Forest, economic studies, and anything physics.

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Garden State, Good Will Hunting, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, LEGO Movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Early guy at Box - founder of their developer program.

Biked 100+ miles on a mountain bike.

Break-danced in front of a mob of 3000 political protesters. I supported the other side, so I didn't get cheered.

Helped set up and manage a popular Burning Man theme camp. Don't worry, I don't preach about Burning Man, but I have fun stories upon request!

Teach, Learn, Share

I actually teach Product Management classes and advise many startups on execution.

However, outside of business people seem very interested in my random knowledge of psychology and philosophy, especially when combine science and politics (nothing like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, in my opinion).

What I Can Share with Hosts

- A very comfortable futon.
- Great views from the top of the hill.
- Tours of non-touristy places in the city.
- Tips on restaurants, bars, parks, and hiking.
- The fasted home wi-fi imaginable.
- Breakfast, with sweet potato hashbrowns.
