About Me

ABOUT ME

Probably, my friends describe me as an active, outgoing, enthusiastic and most importantly a faithful friend.

I have graduated from electrical engineering at one of the best Universites of Turkey, Bilkent University, completed master of electrical engineering at Rosenheim University at Germany and now just started PhD at TU Delft at the Netherlands. As you can guess most of the school times, I study, do sports, meet my friends and study again. Update in May 2023: University is over but learning is lifelong.

Beside, I really love travelling and traveled a lot both in my country and foreign countries at long semester breaks.

My ultimate hobby, or goal, is visiting all of the world, know all the people, cultures and their delicious foods :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am broadminded to most of the type films. However, I am not pleased with horror and thriller films. I would rather animation, history, drama, sci-fi, fantasy and advanture movies to make the most of now.
My favorites: the Shawnshank Redemption, the Lord of the Rings (triology),La Vita a Bella, the Prestige, Toy Story (I), Ice Age (series).

Turkish pop and cultural music is the center of music appreciation. But of course, I sometimes listen the other kinds. Also I am open minded to all cultural and soft musics. My favorite singer is Sezen Aksu. if you dont know her, please inform me. I will introduce you :).

I am a little bit selective if the topic is reading. I like all kind of historical books that's why I love history. Also, My favorites are "as the crow flies" from jeffrey Archer, 40 rules of love from Elif Şafak and Dan Brown books..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already made two trips by interrail and made an internship in Germany.

I overnighted in the European streets with my sleeping-bag :).

I stayed log houses in Antalya.

And the great memories of Octoberfest in München.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach speaking Turkish, some history, cooking, fishing and playing basketball.

I have lived in Germany for two years and learnt ein bisschen German but I have a desire to improve it. It would be great to spend some time with native German speakers.

I have been in the Netherlands for a while and live in here for 4 years more. So, I want to learn Dutch too. Actually, it looks a mixture of English and German, but I am struggling with pronuncing the words, especially the ones with "g" :).

I am a little bit good at cooking Turkish coffee and looking fortune from it. So, if you wish we can try for yours :D.

I am open-minded person to learn that worth to use.

I hope I will meet people who share their knowledge, experiences and interesting memories.
