Overview
About Me
I grew up in Rochester, NY and stayed in New York state for college. After I graduated, I moved to China and stayed for two years both teaching English and studying Chinese. During those two years, I travelled around Asia taking in all of the beautiful sights, sounds, and smells. Travelling is a big passion of mine, and I like talking to and hanging with people across cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, potentially host people, and to be a guest. I'm tired of staying in hostels, and in the future I want a more genuine experience of the places I'll be visiting. Plus, it's always nice to meet new people, try new foods, and have new experiences!
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” - Mark Twain
