ABOUT ME

Originally from New Orleans, went to college in Philadelphia, grad school in Tampa, then just finished a clinical internship in Seattle. Then I moved to Pittsburgh in 2012 to work in research at Pitt/UPMC. I love traveling, exploring new things, and meeting interesting people.

I've done both surfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined several years ago when I was living in Florida and have done some hosting and surfing as well as attending local events and so far I've really enjoyed CS and met some great people.

Movies: I like anything with a good plot, especially sci-fi and horror, and psychological thrillers.

Music: I listen to all types of music, especially rock, alternative, and classical.

Books: I've read many books, especially sci-fi/fantasy, philosophical, or science non-fiction.

TV Shows: Star Trek, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, South Park, Orange is the New Black; anything sci-fi/fantasy/horror

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my most amazing trips was to the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador. I spent an amazing few weeks in a research station in a remote area of the rainforest, only reachable by a very long boat trip down the river.
